MEMBER OPPORTUNITY – LATCB NIHAO CHINA TRAINING ELECTIVE PROGRAM IN APRIL

For those members who have already completed “China Essentials,” the first of the NiHao China electives, “Understanding Chinese Travel Trade,” is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. in the Bank of America Tower auditorium. LATCB members have an exclusive opportunity to benefit from our new NiHao China training program designed to help hotels, attractions and other tourism industry businesses learn how to best attract and meet the cultural preferences of Chinese visitors. The NiHao China program offers a series of seminars, culminating with China-Ready certification for businesses that meet specified criteria. Certified NiHao China businesses will be promoted via LATCB’s marketing vehicles in China including our new website, social media channels, trade shows, and media and travel trade outreach. Based on the success of our inaugural Market Outlook Forum in 2013, LATCB invites you to attend the 2014 Market Outlook Forum scheduled for August 20, 2014. Coming off another record year in visitation and hotel performance, LATCB aims to build upon last year’s program, featuring guest speakers from the industry, discussion panels and breakout sessions that dive deeper into topics relevant to our members, our industry and our destination. We will also provide insights into LATCB’s sales and marketing plans for the year ahead, along with the opportunities where our partners can participate. RELAUNCH OF LATCB MEMBER EXTRANET

LATCB has re-launched our Extranet Member Portal! Accessing your membership account through the Portal will allow you to update contact information, upload photos and descriptions for the website and print publications. We encourage you to log in and review your own listing on discoverlosangeles.com to make sure the account information is accurate and up-to-date, and make any necessary changes using the Portal.
