Molly Ringwald, the ginger-haired "It Girl" of the 80s, is an iconic actress and muse for a generation of John Hughes fans. Ringwald is also an accomplished singer and performs jazz standards and songs from the Great American Songbook. As a child, she often performed with her father, a blind jazz pianist. “… I didn’t feel like anybody was going to listen to the kind of music I wanted to sing,” explains Ringwald, “so I thought I’d just keep singing with my dad and focus on my acting.”
