The summer travel season is in full swing with millions of visitors from around the globe choosing Los Angeles as their ultimate getaway destination and getting lost in an L.A. sunset, an epic taco, our street art and more.

I’m delighted to report that more than $21.6 million in Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) was generated in June, a 15% year-over-year increase. This puts our cumulative total for FY 15/16 at $229.9 million – a new record – and approximately $27 million greater than last year.
