Summer travel season is upon us and millions of visitors from around the world are in Los Angeles to enjoy our beautiful beaches, world-class attractions, scores of new and refreshed hotels and critically-acclaimed restaurants.

In fact, it couldn’t be a better time to explore one of America’s greatest dining destinations as 2015 dineL.A.® Summer Restaurant Week (July 13-26) has officially kicked off. As the largest restaurant week in the nation, locals and visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a selection of specially priced prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus from an extensive list of more than 300 restaurants and eateries.

Meanwhile, we at LATCB are hard at work preparing for our third Market Outlook Forum. I urge you to register now for our annual strategic forecasting conference as it is rapidly approaching on August 20, 2015. This event will help you capitalize on L.A.’s record tourism growth and prepare you to welcome the millions of future visitors to Los Angeles.

New this year, a networking reception will follow the program where you’ll be able to collaborate and explore unique marketing and sales opportunities with key LATCB departments to create your own L.A. success story.

And don’t forget, this is the only way to receive LATCB’s proprietary Marketing and Planning Resource, a critical tool filled with exclusive L.A. market analysis, visitor profiles, spending habits and other market information that will help you make strategic business decisions. This year’s Market Outlook Forum is complimentary to all members, but space is limited. Read more about the Market Outlook Forum in the What’s Coming section.

These are just a few of the many updates on LATCB and our industry we have for you this month. As always, LATCB will be here, working on behalf of all of our members and partners to keep the world coming to Los Angeles.

Best wishes,

Ernest Wooden Jr.
