There is a great opportunity for LA Tourism members being offered by the LA Tourism/LAWA Tokyo Office. Members are invited to attend or participate in the annual Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) Tourism Forum & Travel Showcase, one of the largest tourism events in Asia, taking place Sept. 12-15 in Tokyo. The Travel Showcase features two events- a marketing conference where tourism professionals will discuss a single theme in depth, and a trade fair and exhibition with a travel trade day offering business talks and information exchange. Other days are open to the general public for promoting products and services to general consumers. The cost to participate for brochure distribution is $500, and $2,000 to share a booth.
