LA Foodie is Drew Hubbard and Ben Waters. They’re looking for the best eats in Los Angeles and usually finding them. LA Foodie gives us their top picks for dineLA's Summer Restaurant Week.
K-ZO
One of our favorite sushi joints in town, K-ZO does it right. The fish is fresh, the chefs are great, and the Japanese beer selection ain't too shabby.
Lola's
Lola's is known for their fruity martinis (which are the best of their ilk), but new Chef Reagan Moore has revitalized their menu with some really tasty dishes. The Three Ring Circus appetizer will go perfectly with your mangoberryapplenanatini.
Mo-chica
Now that they've made the move from their humble stall in Mercado La Paloma, you can dine on some of their delectable Alpaca stew. Be sure to bring a friend so you can taste both the artichoke and the octopus appetizers.
Waterloo & City
I think this place exists solely to remind you that all British food doesn't suck. I would say this prix fixe menu (try the Wellington) would keep you from draining your wallet, but one look at the beer list might change that.
Zengo
Latin/Asian fusion? Oh yeah. Just put one of those Thai Chicken Empanadas in your mouth and thank us later.
