On Sunday, March 4, the eyes of the world will be on the 90th Annual Academy Awards, taking place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. For the second consecutive year, Jimmy Kimmel will host the ceremony, which will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide. Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water leads this year's field with 13 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actor and Actress. Dunkirk is second with eight nods, including Best Picture and Best Director. Rachel Morrison (Mudbound) made history as the first woman ever nominated for Best Cinematography.

Oscar Viewing Party - Millennium Biltmore
The landmark Millennium Biltmore Los Angeles is hosting an Oscar viewing party in the iconic Gallery Bar & Cognac Room. Notable as the birthplace of the Academy of Arts & Sciences at a banquet in the Crystal Ballroom, the Biltmore hosted several Oscar ceremonies and is celebrating its 95th Anniversary this year. During the party, guests can sip cocktails inspired by legends like Shirley Temple, who received an Oscar at the hotel’s Biltmore Bowl in 1935. Nosh on themed dishes such as “Darkest Hour” Blackened Petite Filet Oscar and “The Shape of Water” Caviar & Miniature Potatoes. The party includes a red carpet arrival, Step & Repeat with faux Oscars, and an Instagram contest. The Oscar viewing party is available on a first come, first serve basis. A two-drink minimum is required for entry to the event.

EVER BAR - KIMPTON EVERLY HOTEL
Ever Bar at the new Kimpton Everly Hotel in Hollywood is hosting a free Oscars viewing party starting at 3pm. Bar manager Dan Rook created nine cocktails inspired by the Best Picture nominees, including "The Shape of Water" with Black Cow Vodka, served in a mini-bathtub; and "Get Out," based on the infamous Fruit Loops scene and meant to taste like the milk you'd have at the end of that bowl of cereal. A popcorn machine and movie theatre snacks add to the festivities.

Oscar Cocktails & Show - Minibar
Women Who Whiskey L.A. presents an intimate Oscars party at MiniBar, located inside the Best Western Plus Hollywood Hills Hotel. Celebrate Hollywood's biggest night with whisky-loving LAdies. The bar will open a half-hour early at 4:30 p.m. so that WWW L.A. members get the best seats. All guests will receive a welcome cocktail, MiniBar's signature "This Old House" : a Rusty Nail with Monkey Shoulder, Drambuie, and an absinthe rinse. Each guest will also receive a one ounce pour each of Balvenie 17-Year and Balvenie 21-Year. Additional drams and drinks will be available for purchase. MiniBar will be serving light snacks.
