Go Metro: all Metro Rail lines, plus Orange and Silver Lines, will run 24 hours on New Year's Eve with free fares from 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Jeffrey Sutorius - Exchange LA
Spanning 25,000 square feet and four floors in the Historic Core of Downtown Los Angeles, Exchange LA features a Funktion One Res. III sound system and 200 square-foot LED screen display with more than 1.25 million bulbs. On New Year's Eve, veteran L.A. promoter Insomniac presents an extended set by Jeffrey Sutorius (formerly known as Dash Berlin), who will take the crowd on an audio journey from 2018 into 2019 with support from Nick Ledesma and ANDR3X.

MINIMAL EFFORT FEAT. SASHA - BELASCO THEATER
The Belasco Theater on Hill Street in DTLA is a multi-purpose entertainment complex, featuring state-of-the-art sound and lighting and more than 40,000 square feet of event space. On NYE Minimal Effort presents an extended set by Sasha, Skream, Justin Jay, Will Clarke, YokoO, Layton Giordani, option4, Human Resources, Hats&Klaps, Jonnie King, VNSSA and many more DJs. Eight hours of music, five stages, Funktion One sound, LED light installations, live painting, vendors, food and more. NEW YEAR'S EVE BALL - THE EDISON
Located beneath the streets of Downtown L.A., The Edison presents its annual New Year's Eve Ball, an immersive entertainment experience that features multiple themed areas to explore - the Lab performance space, The Ember Parlour, Telegraph Lounge, The Patent Office, The Tesla Lounge, The Radio Room, and the Waterfront Patio.
Tickets to the New Year's Eve Ball are $150 and include tray-passed hors d’oeuvres, live-action food stations and a wide selection of beer, wine and premium spirits from 7:30 p.m until midnight; plus, a selection of coffee, desserts and a celebratory midnight toast to ring in the new year. The Varnish
Hidden in the back of Cole's French Dip, The Varnish is hosting a disco-themed party with table service starting at 9pm. Ring in 2019 at Clifton's Republic, which will take guests on a celebration of history, imagination and magic. Honeycut closes out 2018 with Champagne Supernova: Aught Rock Edition. The Mojito Boys will be spinning all your favorite 2000s hits, hip hop, and guilty pleasures in the Disco and leading the countdown to 2019. Bar Clacson presents “Enchantment Under the Sea,” a NYE party inspired by the classic scene from the original Back to the Future. Newly opened at historic Union Station, The Streamliner is "Rocketing Into the Future" with its first New Year's Eve celebration.
