LA Film Festival (June 1-9, 2016)
This experience at ArcLight Cinemas, expected to boast more than 90,000 guests, showcases independent, international, feature, documentary and short films, as well as music videos. Films exhibited at the Festival are evaluated for consideration into the upper ranks of new American and international cinema.

Next Guest Chef Dinner with Wolfgang Puck (June 1, 2016)
Wolfgang Puck, a Michelin-starred Austrian-born chef and restaurateur who’s served scores of star-studded celebrities for decades, and Hugo Bolanos, his masterful executive chef known for composing superior cuisine, present a special, one-night-only event at Hotel Bel-Air for $135 per person. This collaborative dinner showcases a number of unmatched mouthwatering dishes: a trio of Snake River Farms beef; “La Milpa” salad with blue corn, cilantro, avocado, beans and pumpkin; and a spot prawn ceviche.

Copa America Soccer Tournament (June 4, 2016)
A pack of the world’s top-flight soccer stars are traveling to the United States to compete in The Copa America Tournament, the oldest soccer competition in the world where teams all throughout Latin America will vie for the championship. In one game, the Rose Bowl hosts Brazil vs. Ecuador on June 4.

LA PRIDE (June 10-12, 2016)
LA PRIDE, the world's first gay pride parade, celebrates a festival that jumpstarted the West Coast gay liberation movement. Since 1979, PRIDE has taken place in West Hollywood, the center of gravity for Los Angeles gay life. Today, PRIDE is a festive three-day gala celebrating the rights of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individual. To top it off, scores of LGBT people and their allies are expected to flood the streets of West Hollywood for the Los Angeles Gay Pride Parade, LA PRIDE's signature event, featuring snazzy floats and upbeat music. And the opening day kicks off at West Hollywood Park. The LA PRIDE Grand Marshal this year is Jewel Thais-Williams, who ushered in one of the first black discos in the United States in 1973, an act of defiance in the face of clubs that had often denied her entrance because she was black and female.

Wrestling World Cup (June 11 - 12, 2016)
The top eight men’s freestyle wrestling teams in the world are coming to the Forum to fight for victory. Team USA competes for the last time in the United States before heading to Brazil for the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Playboy Jazz Festival (June 11 - 12, 2016)
The LA Phil presents the 38th-annual Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl, featuring an all-star line-up of illustrious jazz greats, next generation leaders and Festival perennials. Bob Dylan (June 16, 2016)
Superstar musician Bob Dylan performs at the Shrine Auditorium. For almost half-a-century, Dylan has remained, along with James Brown, the most influential American musician rock & roll has ever produced. Inscrutable and unpredictable, Dylan has been both deified and denounced for his shifts of interest, while whole schools of musicians took up his ideas. OUE Skyspace Los Angeles Grand Opening (June 25, 2016)
OUE Skyspace Los Angeles, which opens on June 25 perched at nearly 1,000 feet above Downtown L.A. at the iconic U.S. Bank Tower, is California’s tallest open-air observation deck, offering 360-degree views of Los Angeles. The highlight is the Skyslide, a first-of-its-kind outdoor glass slide that’s attached to the exterior of the U.S. Bank Tower, currently the tallest building west of the Mississippi River. Glide from the 70th to the 69th floor, seeing panoramic views of Los Angeles along the way.
