Riverdance (Dec. 1 - 6, 2015)
The international Irish dance phenomenon returns by popular demand with RIVERDANCE - The 20th Anniversary World Tour. The production, which is composed by Bill Whelan, produced by Moya Doherty and directed by John McColgan, is currently celebrating a sold out, critically-acclaimed run across Europe and Asia and will arrive in North America in Fall 2015 at the Pantages Theatre. RIVERDANCE - The 20th Anniversary World Tour is an innovative and exciting blend of dance, music and song. Drawing on Irish traditions, the combined talents of the performers propel Irish dancing and music into the present day, capturing the imagination of audiences across all ages and cultures. Los Angeles Clippers v Indiana Pacers (Dec. 2, 2015)

CraftNight: Paper Wreaths with Mark Montano (Dec. 3, 215)
Make your own paper holiday wreath! Designer and television personality Mark Montano will host a night of paper, pattern and holiday color for this special December CraftNight. Project demonstrations will be at 7 and 7:30 p.m. at the Craft and Folk Art Museum. This festive event is free for CAFAM members and $8 for non-members. Ski Dazzle (Dec. 4-6, 2015)
Ski Dazzle is the nation’s largest annual consumer ski and snowboard show and sale. Taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, this family-friendly event feature exhibitors, show specials, season pass and lift ticket packages, and entertainment. The Nutcracker (Dec. 5 - 27, 2015)
The Los Angeles Ballet presents family favorite The Nutcracker at venues such as The Alex Theatre, Dolby Theatre, Royce Hall and more. Join Clara, her Uncle Drosselmeyer and her beloved Nutcracker as she travels to the Land of Snow, and to the Palace of the Dolls where all of her favorite doll companions come to life. Festival of Carols (Dec. 5 & 12, 2015)
Get in the holiday spirit at Walt Disney Concert Hall with your favorite carols sung by one of the greatest choirs in the world! Sprinkled with new arrangements and traditional songs of the season, the Festival of Carols is an L.A. tradition guaranteed to put you in the mood to decorate the tree! Attendees can hear the lobbies filled with the glorious sound of carols played by a professional brass quintet before the show and Santa will be available to meet with kids of all ages after the performance. Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk (Dec. 10, 2015)
The Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk is a self-guided tour that started in 2004 and has flourished during the Downtown L.A. renaissance. Art Walk encompasses more than 40 galleries and museums spread throughout the area's many sub-districts, including Bunker Hill, Little Tokyo and Gallery Row on Main and Spring Streets in the Historic Core. Holiday Odd Market (Dec. 11 - 12 , 2015)
Head to FIGat7th, Downtown L.A.’s premier shopping and dining destination, for the Holiday Odd Market. This free two-day event features goods from some of the best crafters, artists and makers of oddities in Los Angeles. The 7th Annual SANTA Monica Pub Crawl (Dec. 12, 2015)
The 7th Annual SANTA Monica Pub Crawl will take place on Dec. 12, 2015 at 5 p.m. throughout Santa Monica at the city’s best bars and restaurants. Crawlers sign up online, choose their favorite SANTA route and pay a $12 donation/entrance fee. All SMPC participants are asked to dress in Santa/Holiday attire, either individually or in teams, so that the streets of Santa Monica will be filled with merry cheer, such as: Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elves, Reindeer, Carolers and Santa's Helpers. The Pub Crawl will include bars on Wilshire Boulevard, the historic Santa Monica Pier and Main Street. A generous portion of all proceeds benefit the Westside Food Bank to feed the less fortunate over the holidays. Last year's event raised over $20,000 - enough for 100,000 meals! Marina del Rey’s Annual Holiday Boat Parade (Dec. 12, 2015)
The annual Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade is an event rich in history and tradition. Since its first sailing in 1963, the Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade has attracted thousands to view the festively decorated boats competing for awards. This year’s parade will kick off with a short fireworks show at 5:55 p.m. to signal the start of the event and is free to the public. This year’s Grand Marshall is none other than TV Legend Florence Henderson. Come early and enjoy food trucks, music and even snow at the Burton Chace Park. Union Station Art & Architecture Tour (Dec. 13, 2015)
Led by trained Metro Art Docents, the Union Station Art & Architecture Tour covers historic Union Station art, architecture and spaces not generally open to the public, including the Historic Ticketing Hall and former Fred Harvey restaurant. Additionally, the tours will explore artworks located in the Gold Line Portal, Union Station East and inside the Metro Gateway Headquarters Building. Tours are free. Reservations are not required.
