Jim Parsons will be honored with the 2,545th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. PST with a live-stream exclusively on www.walkoffame.com. The star (in the category of Television) will be dedicated in front of the historic Hudson Apartments, located at 6533 Hollywood Blvd. “Jim’s fans have been anxiously awaiting this well-deserved star ceremony and they will get a big bang out of seeing our recipient receiving this honor!” stated Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies. Helping emcee and Hollywood Chamber President/CEO Leron Gubler to unveil the star will be television producer and Walk of Famer Chuck Lorre and DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg.
Jim Parsons was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He earned a BA from the University of Houston and a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from the Old Globe Theater/University of San Diego. A four-time Emmy winner, Golden Globe® Award winner and SAG Nominee, Jim Parsons continues to bring a winning combination of indelible charm, charisma and comedic timing to his roles on screen and on stage, establishing himself as one of Hollywood’s leading men.
