For the second consecutive year, Jimmy Kimmel will host the ceremony, which will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide. Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water leads this year's field with 13 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actor and Actress. Dunkirk is second with eight nods, including Best Picture and Best Director. Rachel Morrison (Mudbound) made history as the first woman ever nominated for Best Cinematography.
