Where to Find Holiday Deals in Los Angeles!

LOS ANGELES (Nov. 25, 2013) – As one of the world’s most notable shopping destinations, Los Angeles is the perfect place to find unique gifts for all interests. A multitude of shopping options, not to mention unbelievable seasonal deals can be found throughout the city. Below is a round-up of some of the great deals available in LA this holiday season.

Boutiques and Sample Sales

Los Angeles has quickly become known for unique boutiques and launching careers of new designers. LA’s Downtown Fashion District features Holiday Sample Sales now through Christmas (November 15 and 22; December 6,13, and 20) from notable retailers such as AG Jeans, Splendid, Ella Moss and Tibi.  These sample sales are typically the last Friday of every month but for the holidays the showrooms open to the public all month long. Robertson Boulevard, one of LA’s more famous shopping blocks, will host a Holiday Shopping Evening on Thursday, December 5 with special promotions, champagne, music and gift wrapping.  

Music

For music lover’s, Ameoba Music Hollywood, the world’s largest independent music store will offer some killer deals on Black Friday. From special in store items to discounts on merchandise, shoppers can take advantage of deals like 25% off gift certificates, headphones, and posters, plus “Record Store Day” where limited edition vinyl releases will be available.

Shopping Centers and Outlets

Los Angeles County is full of shopping centers with name brand retailers offering a variety of deals this holiday season. Macy’s Plaza in Downtown begins Black Friday discounts on Thanksgiving night at 8 p.m. with big savings on their clothing, shoes, accessories and even home items, such as $19.99 for Rampage boots or 60% off plus an additional 10% off all Martha Stewart Collection Collector’s Enameled Cast Iron Casseroles.  Visitors can also pick-up a special 10% off visitor pass in the fine jewelry department. For beach city shoppers, Santa Monica Place will be offering a discounted Valet parking rate, as well as special bounce back promotions valid November 29 through December 31 from participating retailers such as Bloomingdale’s, Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss, Marbles: The Brain Store, LeSportsac and Zengo. The Beverly Center, which features the interactive Ice Palace, will open at 8 a.m. on Black Friday plus shoppers can enjoy complimentary self parking all day long.

Gift of Travel

Adding to the holiday savings, the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board has partnered with Expedia.com and Hotels.com on a special holiday travel package. Now through January 2, book three nights or more at select Los Angeles hotels, through Expedia.com or Hotels.com and receive two tickets to the Rose Parade, $10 off Universal Studios HollywoodSM Front of the Line Pass, two tickets to the GRAMMY Museum® at L.A. Live, and a $25 Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill gift card, a savings of $170.
