The 2014 Rose Bowl is the 100th anniversary edition of the “The Granddaddy of Them All,” taking place at Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena on New Year’s Day. The historic game matches the Pac-12 Champion, Stanford Cardinal against the Big-Ten Champion, Michigan State Spartans.
The following week, college football fans and alumni from around the country will once again make the journey to the Rose Bowl, which hosts the 2014 BCS National Championship Game on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014. The top-ranked Florida State Seminoles face off against the No. 2 Auburn Tigers in the 16th and final BCS National Championship Game. Beginning with the 2014-15 season, the College Football Playoff replaces the BCS with a four-team playoff series.
