You can pretty much assume that a shop with the phrase “Whenever You Are, We’re Already Then” will house an impressive collection of retro-centric kitsch. Any Robot Chicken-watching child of the ‘80s is guaranteed to find something of interest here. Novelties include Viking Tooth Darkeners, ‘All My Friends are Dead’ dinosaur T-shirts and an assortment of Dave Eggers books. All proceeds go to 826LA, a nonprofit organization that helps develop young writers.

There aren’t many places in Los Angeles where you can stop in for a shave and taper cut, as well as browse reasonably priced vintage tees and belt buckles while you wait your turn for a chair.
